Al-Haiatus Sublia Lil-Jami'atil Qawmiya Bangladesh has expressed deep concern over what it describes as 'one-sided propaganda' following recent allegations of physical and sexual abuse in Qawmi madrasas published across various media and social platforms. To streamline the verification of these allegations, gather authentic data, and ensure strict institutional oversight, the board has officially decided to set up a central 'Monitoring Cell' alongside a dedicated 24/7 'Hotline' service.

The decision was formalized on Wednesday (July 29) during a high-level meeting titled 'Actions of Al-Haiatus Sublia to Prevent Anti-Qawmi Propaganda and Handle the Arising Situation' held at its central office in Dhaka. To facilitate direct reporting, the board is introducing a specialized hotline service where students, guardians, and citizens can register complaints or share verified information regarding any misconduct or abuse within madrasas.

Complaints received through this hotline will be directly routed to and processed by the newly established central 'Qawmi Madrasa Monitoring Cell' for immediate verification and field-level inspection. According to an official press release signed by Maulana Mu. Osiur Rahman, Office Manager of Al-Haiatus Sublia, this helpline-driven monitoring system will play a crucial role in curbing false propaganda, identifying actual culprits, and maintaining a safe learning environment across all affiliated institutions.
