Xiaomi Expands AIoT Portfolio in Bangladesh with Three New Smart Security Cameras
Xiaomi has introduced three new AI-powered smart security cameras in Bangladesh, featuring intelligent monitoring, enhanced privacy protection and encrypted communication.
Global technology company Xiaomi has expanded its AIoT portfolio in Bangladesh with the launch of three new smart security cameras: the Xiaomi Smart Camera C201, Xiaomi Smart Camera C301 and Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW100 Dual.
According to the company, the new devices combine AI-powered detection, advanced imaging capabilities, physical lens shielding, finance-grade encryption and the built-in MJA1 security chipset to strengthen both surveillance and user privacy. The cameras can also be monitored and controlled remotely through the Xiaomi Home app.
The Xiaomi Smart Camera C201 is designed for indoor use and features 1080p Full HD recording, 360-degree panoramic coverage, infrared night vision and AI-powered human and pet detection. It also includes a physical lens shield for enhanced privacy.
The Xiaomi Smart Camera C301 offers 2K (3MP) resolution, 360-degree horizontal and 107-degree vertical coverage, AI-based human detection, a physical privacy mode, encrypted communication and secure cloud architecture. The company says it is suitable for homes, offices, clinics and small businesses.
For outdoor surveillance, the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW100 Dual features a dual-lens design, 3MP imaging, smart full-colour night vision, AI-powered human and vehicle detection, virtual fence alerts and an active audio-visual alarm. Its IP66-rated weather-resistant design enables operation in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C.
Xiaomi Bangladesh Country General Manager Ziauddin Chowdhury said the demand for smart security solutions is increasing in Bangladesh and that the new products have been designed to combine intelligent monitoring with enhanced privacy protection.
The three models are now available at Xiaomi authorised stores across Bangladesh. The Xiaomi Smart Camera C201 is priced at BDT 3,099, the C301 at BDT 4,899 and the Outdoor Camera CW100 Dual at BDT 6,000.
