To enhance digital transaction facilities for customers, One Bank PLC has launched an instant fund transfer service from its banking app to mobile financial service (MFS) provider Nagad. The service was officially inaugurated on Tuesday (June 23) during a ceremony held at One Bank's corporate head office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Through this integration, One Bank account holders can now securely transfer funds to any Nagad wallet instantly using the banking application, marking a significant step toward expanding the cashless financial ecosystem.

The inaugural event was attended by the central bank-appointed Administrator of Nagad, Md. Motasim Billah, and One Bank Managing Director Muhit Rahman. Highlighting the initiative, Nagad Administrator Md. Motasim Billah stated that interoperability between traditional banking and MFS networks is critical for expanding financial inclusion across Bangladesh.

One Bank Managing Director Muhit Rahman noted that the bank remains focused on embracing modern digital ecosystems to secure user convenience, adding that this partnership aligns with Bangladesh Bank's long-term vision of building a cashless economy.

One Bank Additional Managing Director Shabbir Ahmed and Nagad Chief Commercial Officer Mohammad Shahin Sarwar Bhuiyan, among other senior corporate officials, were present at the launch.
