Smart Living Suite: Xiaomi Unveils AI Washer, TVs, and IoT Devices in Bangladesh
Xiaomi has introduced a new range of smart home appliances in Bangladesh, led by the Mijia AI Smart Washer Dryer, which can wash and dry clothes within 59 minutes, eliminate 99.99 percent of bacteria during washing, and automatically shut down after completing its cycle.
In addition, Xiaomi showcased an air fryer capable of cooking without gas while saving 88 percent of oil consumption. To ensure a healthier indoor environment, the company launched the Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact and Lite, designed to maintain air purity. A Two Window IP Camera has also been introduced to prevent CCTV footage leakage, alongside the GPS-enabled Xiaomi Tag, which helps secure keys, helmets, and motorbikes via mobile phones.
Expanding beyond smartphones, Xiaomi unveiled two large-screen smart TVs, along with a washing machine, air fryer, security camera, and GPS tag in the Bangladesh market.
The products were officially launched on Monday (May 4) at the ballroom of Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka, by Xiaomi Bangladesh Managing Director Zia Uddin Chowdhury, who also announced the market prices of each device.
According to the declared pricing, the Xiaomi TV A Pro Series 2026 with 4K UHD display is priced as follows: the 75-inch variant at Tk 153,999, 65-inch at Tk 114,999, 55-inch at Tk 84,999, and 43-inch at Tk 52,999. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series is priced at Tk 499,999 for the 98-inch variant, Tk 245,999 for 85-inch, Tk 179,999 for 75-inch, Tk 139,999 for 65-inch, and Tk 103,999 for 55-inch.
Other products include the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5 kg priced at Tk 74,999, the Air Purifier at Tk 21,999, the Security Camera at Tk 4,799, and the Smart Tag at Tk 9,999.
The launch event featured product displays, media interaction sessions, and opportunities for hands-on experience with the devices. Through this expansion into the home appliances segment—offering affordability alongside high quality—Xiaomi Bangladesh reiterated its long-term commitment to building a comprehensive smart living ecosystem.
At the event, Xiaomi Bangladesh Marketing Director Md. Asaduzzaman presented detailed insights into the new products, while National Training Manager Faisal Ahmed delivered the welcome address.
