Network Nexus: BdNOG Forms 2026–2027 Executive Committee
The Bangladesh Network Operators Group (BdNOG) has announced its new Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term. Fakhrul Alam Pappu has assumed the role of President, while Barkatul Alam Biplob is serving as General Secretary.
A strong executive body has been formed to oversee the policy direction and day-to-day operations of the organization, which represents network engineers and internet operators. Experienced professionals from various institutions have been appointed to key positions in the new committee.
The names of the new committee were announced on Monday (May 4). Key members include Suman Kumar Saha as Chair of the Program Committee (PC) and Shaila Sharmin as Chair of the Fellowship Committee (FC). Other members are Simon Sohel Barai, Md. Abdul Awal, Mahbub Hasan Pavel, Debashish Das, Md. Selim Reza, and Md. Ariful Islam.
Notably, BdNOG is a non-profit voluntary organization comprising network professionals working in the country’s telecommunications, internet service provider (ISP), banking, and various information technology sectors. The organization regularly arranges training workshops and conferences to support the development of internet infrastructure and enhance technical expertise in Bangladesh.
