PrimePay Partnership Powers Digital Payments, Disbursements for Samuda Group
Under a new agreement, Samuda Group will execute all types of domestic payments and disbursements using PrimePay, the modern omnichannel digital platform of Prime Bank Limited. The group will also utilize the bank’s nationwide branch network for sales collection management. Additionally, the company has taken the initiative to enhance efficiency and transparency in its financial management through the use of MIS reporting.
To this end, both organizations recently signed a memorandum of understanding at the bank’s head office in Gulshan, according to a statement issued by the bank on Sunday, April 12.
At the ceremony, Prime Bank’s Additional Managing Director Faisal Rahman, Area Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking Sajid Rahman, Samuda Group’s Managing Director Mohammad Mostafa Haider, and Chief Financial Officer Mohammad Akramuzzaman exchanged the agreement documents. Senior officials from both organizations were also present.
PrimePay is an advanced digital platform of Prime Bank that enables customers to conveniently complete a wide range of payments. Through this platform, users can conduct RTGS, BEFTN, fund transfers, NPSB, MFS, as well as both electronic and paper-based transactions. It also allows the issuance of cheques and pay orders using digital signatures. Customers can easily pay duties, taxes, VAT, and utility bills through the platform.
