Bluesky Boost: AI Assistant ‘Attie’ to Build Custom Feeds Without Coding

Social media platform Bluesky is set to launch a new artificial intelligence (AI) assistant named “Attie” for its platform. The tool has been developed by the company’s Chief Innovation Officer Jay Graber and her Exploration team, enabling users to create custom feeds simply by giving instructions in plain language without writing any code, reports Engadget.

Atti is built on the open-source framework “AT Protocol.” Through this, users will be able to generate feeds by typing in simple language. For example: “Show me electronic music and experimental sounds from people in my network,” or “Show me builders working on agent infrastructure and open protocol design.”

In a blog post, Graber said, “It feels more like a conversation than configuring software. Just tell it what kind of posts you want to see, and the coding agent will generate the feed accordingly.”

Atti is a separate app from Bluesky. Users will have the freedom not to use it. However, since both apps are built on the same framework, cross-app implementation may be introduced between them in the future. For now, Atti has been launched in an invite-only closed beta. Interested users can register on the website’s waiting list.
