Disneyland Paris Expansion to Create 1,000 New Jobs
The expansion of Disneyland Park near Paris, France, is set to create 1,000 new jobs. This information was shared on Friday (27 March) during a visit to the park by The Walt Disney Company’s Chief Executive Officer Josh D’Amaro and French President Emmanuel Macron, reports Reuters.
D’Amaro said, “I believe we will continue to remain a top tourist destination. We will increase employment opportunities. We are adding 1,000 new positions to build this new area.” Since its launch in 1992, Disneyland Paris has become one of Europe’s leading tourist attractions.
French President Emmanuel Macron and Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro visited Disneyland Paris ahead of the उद्घाटन (inauguration) of the new ‘World of Frozen’ themed park. As part of the expansion, this new theme park based on the Frozen series is being introduced.
D’Amaro assumed the role of Disney’s Chief Executive Officer on 2 March. Last year, 57 percent of Disney’s $17.5 billion profit came from its theme park business.
