BTRC Holds Third Round of Talks with Mobile Business Community
The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has sat for the third round of meetings with the ‘illegal’ mobile importers’ platform, Mobile Business Community Bangladesh (MBCB).
The meeting began around 11:30 am on Tuesday, 9 December, on the 10th floor of the BTRC office in Agargaon. Before the meeting started, more than a hundred individuals were seen gathering outside the BTRC premises.
According to sources, the agitating traders met with Brigadier General Md Aminul Haque, Director General of BTRC’s Spectrum Division.
A 14-member delegation of the Mobile Business Community Bangladesh (MBCB), led by its President Mohammad Aslam and Secretary Abu Sayeed Pias, attended the meeting.
The meeting was still underway at the time of filing this report.
