TCL Begins Official Operations in Bangladesh with DX Group

Global electronics and smart home appliance manufacturer TCL Global Marketing Company Limited has officially launched its operations in Bangladesh, partnering with the country’s forward-looking technology firm, DX Group. Initially, the company is offering washing machines, air conditioners, smart TVs, and smart refrigerators.
Although the products are currently being imported, senior officials of both companies stated that they are actively seeking suitable locations to establish a manufacturing plant in Bangladesh soon.
The announcement came on Sunday, 7 December, at TCL’s official market-entry event held at Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka. The program highlighted TCL’s market prospects in Bangladesh, its long-term investment plan, and its vision for local manufacturing. It was also declared that DX Group will serve as TCL’s sole official partner in Bangladesh, overseeing marketing, distribution, and local production.
The event was attended by DX Group Founder and CEO Dewan Kanon, top officials from the partnering companies, TCL representatives, various corporate partners, actress and model Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, influencer Twinkle Carol, representatives from ToTo Company including Tushar, and others.
Ms. Carol, Regional Sales Director (TCL Global), shared a presentation on TCL’s history, mission, and vision for Bangladesh. “We are delighted to officially enter the Bangladesh market,” she said. “We believe consumers here will enjoy a new level of experience with TCL products distributed through DX Group.”
Additional remarks were given by Jensen Wang, TCL’s South Asian Regional Manager, and Frank Zhuang, South Asian Regional Manager (TV) at TCL.
DX Group CEO Dewan Kanon said, “Bangladesh is now one of the fastest-growing markets for technology products. It is a matter of pride for us to bring world-class innovations to the people of this country with a global brand like TCL. Through local manufacturing, we aim to unlock new industrial possibilities, contribute to job creation, and enhance technological capacity.”
TCL representatives noted that Bangladesh holds immense potential as a market. They emphasized that the company has long-term plans for building a local production ecosystem, which will positively impact product variety, quality, and pricing for consumers.
TCL announced that it will locally manufacture televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and various other smart home appliances in Bangladesh. With a combination of advanced technology, international quality standards, and affordability, the company aims to deliver an enriched consumer experience.
Founded in 1981 in China, TCL today operates in more than 160 countries and regions worldwide. The company maintains a global leadership position in panel technology, televisions, and air conditioners, while rapidly expanding its footprint across other smart home appliance categories.
