Midland Bank Makes Digital Debut with DLOS Deployment
Midland Bank Limited, a private commercial bank, has formally launched the Digital Loan Origination Solution (DLOS) software. This advanced technological service is being provided by Unisoft Systems Limited, a subsidiary of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited. The project was officially inaugurated on Wednesday, 12 November, at the bank’s head office, N.B. Tower, located on Gulshan North Avenue.
Representing Midland Bank at the event were Managing Director and CEO Md. Ahsan-Uz-Zaman; Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer Md. Zahid Hossain; Senior EVP and Head of Institutional Banking Division Mohammad Javed Tareq Khan; Senior EVP and Head of International & NRB Division Khondker Tawfiq Hossain; and EVP and Head of Retail Distribution Division Md. Rashed Akhtar.
From Unisoft Systems Limited, Deputy Managing Director Abu Mostafa Chowdhury Sujon and Head of Software Development Abu Hena Muhammad Mostafa Zaman were present. Speakers at the event stated that Midland Bank has always been at the forefront of enhancing customer service quality and advancing digital banking processes. The new DLOS software will make the bank's loan processing faster, more efficient, and more transparent.
On Thursday, 13 November, Unisoft Systems Limited stated, “We are extremely delighted to work with a modern financial institution like Midland Bank. We believe that successful implementation of this project will open a new horizon in the use of digital solutions in Bangladesh’s banking sector.”
