MG Motors to Launch Two New Hybrid Models in Bangladesh
British automobile brand MG is set to introduce two completely new models from its HS series in the Bangladeshi market—the Super Hybrid (Plug-in Hybrid) and the Hybrid Plus. Pre-booking for both versions of the MG HS is already underway across MG Bangladesh showrooms and authorized dealer points nationwide.
According to MG sources, the new hybrid series of the MG HS has been designed with a focus on fuel efficiency, comfort, and eco-friendly technology. The Super Hybrid (Plug-in Hybrid) model can travel over 120 kilometers solely on electric power once fully charged and more than 1,000 kilometers when powered by both a full battery and a full fuel tank. Thanks to its plug-in hybrid technology, short-distance drives can be completed with zero carbon emissions, while the hybrid system provides extra power for long-distance journeys.
Meanwhile, the Hybrid Plus model features an intelligent dual-mode power system that seamlessly integrates electric and petrol power for maximum efficiency and comfort. The smart system minimizes fuel consumption, reduces emissions, and ensures an exceptional driving experience.
On the global stage, the MG HS has won multiple accolades. At the WhatCar? Awards 2025, it was recognized as the Best Plug-in Hybrid and Best Family SUV, while at the AutoCar Awards 2025, MG earned the title of Best Manufacturer. Moreover, the MG HS remains one of the top-selling hybrid SUVs across major markets, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Middle East.
