Omoda 9 PHEV: Power Meets Purpose in Dhaka Debut

The premium plug-in hybrid SUV Omoda 9 PHEV, featuring eco-friendly technology, has been officially launched at the Omoda and Jaecoo showroom on Gulshan Link Road in Dhaka. The unveiling ceremony was conducted by Dewan Sajedur Rahman, Managing Director of Asian Distributions Limited. The event was attended by the company’s Director Dewan Saidur Rahman, Executive Director Sadiqul Moshtaq, and other senior officials.

According to a press release issued on Tuesday, November 11, the Omoda 9 Plug-in Hybrid combines modern design, advanced technology, and intelligent driving features. The vehicle boasts 440 kW (590 bhp) of power and 915 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. It is equipped with an all-wheel-drive system and a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, allowing for a combined driving range of up to 1,200 km.

The SUV’s interior offers both comfort and sophistication, featuring Napa leather seats with heating and cooling functions, a 14-speaker high-fidelity surround sound system by Sony, and a 12.3-inch liquid HD crystal display. The Omoda 9 PHEV also includes a sliding panoramic sunroof and a suite of advanced safety technologies such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and blind spot detection. Altogether, the vehicle promises to redefine comfort, style, and safety in modern mobility.

The Omoda 9 PHEV comes with an extensive warranty of eight years or up to 160,000 kilometers (terms and conditions apply).
