AppleCare One Offers Affordable Multi-Device Protection
Apple has announced the launch of its new subscription plan, AppleCare One, which allows users to cover up to three Apple devices for just $19.99 per month. According to TechCrunch, each additional device will cost an extra $5.99 monthly.
The AppleCare One plan includes all the benefits of AppleCare+, such as unlimited repairs for accidental damage (like drops or water exposure), 24/7 access to Apple experts, and battery coverage. What sets this plan apart is its expanded protection for not just iPhones, but also iPads and Apple Watches — including theft and loss coverage.
Subscribers will be able to add older devices, up to four years old, to their coverage, provided those devices are in “good condition” upon inspection.
The report adds that AppleCare One will apply only to devices registered under a customer’s Apple account and is set to launch in the United States starting Thursday.
