Shibir Signals Solidarity: Weeklong Online Campaign Announced

Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has announced a weeklong online campaign to promote national unity from May 24 to May 30. The announcement came through a press release issued on Sunday (May 25) by the organization’s publicity secretary, Azizur Rahman Azad.
According to the press release, the campaign aims to “commemorate the historic July mass uprising and spread the message of unity.” In this context, Chhatra Shibir has called upon people from all walks of life to take part in the campaign by sharing July-related memories, statements, photos, videos, and other content across social media platforms.
The statement further mentioned that meetings have already been held with leaders of various student and social organizations. “Discussions are ongoing to determine a course of action for building national unity,” it added.
Chhatra Shibir believes that “reminiscing the memories of July will once again inspire the nation to play a united role in overcoming the impending crisis.”
