Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) has organized a day-long training workshop titled "Ethics and Integrity, Journal Retractions, and Financial Budget Adjustments" under the initiative of its Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
Addressing the event as the chief guest and instructor, JUST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jahrul Kabir stated, "Ethics and integrity form the core foundation of building a top-tier university. Merit devoid of honesty cannot bring positive changes to society or institutions
Special guest and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sheikh Mahmudul Hasan noted, "We want to prioritize the quality of research over quantity while upholding strict ethical standards. Unethically published papers often lead to unpleasant situations like journal retractions, harming personal prestige and the university's international reputation
