Protests at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) reached their tenth consecutive day as students continued their one-point demand for the reinstatement of Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem. Demonstrators enforced a 'complete shutdown' on Thursday (October 1) by locking the main entrance gates starting at 8:00 AM, bringing academic schedules to a full halt.

Adding momentum to the student-led boycott, CUET teachers, officers, and staff observed their fifth consecutive day of work abstention. A joint sit-in demonstration was held in front of the Vice-Chancellor's building between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, creating an unprecedented administrative standstill across the campus.

Following a day of demonstrations, evening activities shifted into creative resistance with a 'protest concert' and photo exhibition outside the VC building. Student speaker Moumita Dutta Priya highlighted that the exhibition displayed moments from the past nine days of agitation while condemning the administration's silence. Demonstrators reiterated that no student would return to classes until the Vice-Chancellor is honorably reinstated.
