Second Phase of Undergraduate Admissions Underway at CUET
The second phase of the undergraduate first-year admission process for the 2025–26 academic session is currently underway at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology. The second-stage admission activities began at 9:30 am on Tuesday, 10 March, at the university’s central auditorium. The process is proceeding with successful candidates submitting their required documents to the verification committee.
On Wednesday morning, 11 March, candidates must check the departments allotted to them and deposit the prescribed admission fee of Tk 18,500 at the Sonali Bank, CUET branch, by 3:00 pm. However, candidates who complete their health examinations may deposit the required fee at the bank on the same day with approval from the authorities.
According to a notice published on CUET’s admission-related website, verification of certificates and health examinations for candidates of the designated merit positions began on Tuesday. In this phase, candidates with merit positions from 1,251 to 2,500 in the main merit list for engineering departments and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning were called. Candidates from the Chittagong Hill Tracts and other districts belonging to small ethnic communities (tribes) with merit positions 11 to 20, as well as candidates from the Rakhine community holding merit position 02, were also called. Additionally, candidates with merit positions from 76 to 125 in the Department of Architecture were invited.
To complete the admission process, candidates included in the specified merit lists must log in through the designated link. They are required to download the previously filled online choice form and other forms indicated on the dashboard, complete them, and bring printed copies during admission. Candidates who did not previously fill out the online choice form are allowed to complete it on the day of admission. After verification and submission of certificates by the review board, the candidates undergo a health examination.
