CUET Announces Second-Phase Admission Schedule for 2025–26 Academic Year

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has published the schedule for the second phase of admission to the first-year undergraduate programs for the 2025–26 academic year.

The admission process will begin on March 10.

According to the admission notice, document verification and medical examinations for candidates selected according to the specified merit positions will be held on March 10 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Central Auditorium of the university.

The merit positions of the candidates invited for this phase have been published on the CUET admission website.

The list shows that for the Engineering Departments and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, candidates ranked 1251–2500 in the merit list have been called. For the Chittagong Hill Tracts and other district indigenous (tribal) quota, candidates ranked 11–20 have been invited. Under the Rakhine community quota, candidate ranked 02 has been called, while for the Architecture Department, candidates ranked 76–125 have been invited.

According to the admission guidelines, selected candidates must log in to the designated link, download the previously filled online choice form and other forms indicated on the dashboard, complete them, and bring printed copies on the admission day. Candidates who did not fill out the choice form earlier will have the opportunity to complete it on the admission day. After document verification, the medical examination will be conducted.

For final admission, candidates must deposit the admission fee of Tk 18,500, according to the department allotted to them, at the Sonali Bank, CUET Branch, by 3:00 pm on March 11. With approval from the authorities, the fee may also be deposited on the same day after completing the medical examination.

At the time of admission, candidates must bring the original SSC/equivalent certificate and transcript, HSC/equivalent registration card and transcript, a testimonial from the head of their institution, and two recently taken passport-sized photographs.

In addition, candidates must submit the admission test admit card (signed by the hall invigilator). For reserved seats, the original certificate of tribal identity issued by the relevant authority must also be provided. During the medical examination, candidates must bring the blood group test report and glasses (if applicable).

After completion of the second-phase admissions, the list of departments allocated and remaining vacant seats will be published on the website by March 12. Subject to seat availability, admissions will continue until the orientation day, and auto migration will be implemented as required.

The merit list of the admission test was published on January 23. After the first phase of admissions, 605 seats remain vacant out of a total of 920 seats.
