With the aim of enhancing youth skills and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Youth Upskill Network – UNET and Youth Hub, Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work jointly on youth development initiatives.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaboratively implement institutional capacity-building and training programmes, with a particular focus on soft skills, STEAM education, artificial intelligence and IoT applications, and Fourth Industrial Revolution–oriented skill development. The partnership also seeks to raise awareness among youth and entrepreneurs, promote foundational coding skills, encourage early interest in computer education from school level, and strengthen programming competencies through various initiatives.

The MoU signing ceremony was held on Saturday (10 January) at the Youth Hub Malaysia office in Kuala Lumpur. As part of the agreement, both organizations will jointly implement programmes aligned with the United Nations–declared SDGs, leveraging their respective expertise and institutional strengths to advance youth empowerment.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Youth Upskill Network – UNET by its Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Altamish Nabil, while Pavel Sarwar, Co-founder of Youth Hub, signed on behalf of the Malaysian organization.

Officials also announced plans to organize national and international awareness programmes, workshops, education and certification initiatives, as well as technology-based hackathons involving children and adolescents.

It is worth noting that Youth Upskill Network – UNET is a Bangladesh-based global platform working to empower young people through targeted skill development, leadership training, and international networking. Youth Hub, on the other hand, is a global youth-led organization actively engaged in technology education, wellness, gender equality, social innovation, entrepreneurship development, and community development.
