Commission Publishes Final Report on 15 Years of Enforced Disappearances
The Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances has published online its comprehensive final report on cases of enforced disappearances over the past 15 years. The online link to the report was shared on Tuesday evening, January 13, through the official Facebook page of the Chief Adviser’s Office.
While sharing the report, the Chief Adviser’s Office stated that enforced disappearances in Bangladesh over the last 15 years were not isolated incidents; rather, they constituted a systematic, institutional, and politically orchestrated crime.
The final report of the Commission of Inquiry details a series of grave and disturbing incidents related to enforced disappearances. The report spans 229 pages and has been prepared in English in PDF format. It has been uploaded as “File-1” under the publications section of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances portal.
