The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC)-approved local company, Digital Trade Corporation, has launched an online sales platform featuring a wide range of walkie-talkies, repeaters, and related accessories. Through its official website, the company now offers various brands and models of walkie-talkies, repeaters, batteries, antennas, and headsets—all government-approved and legally certified.
In addition to communication devices, the site also offers safety equipment, including helmets, gloves, goggles, specialized shoes, belts, and metal detectors.
According to sources, the models currently available online include Yanton-245, Yanton-328, Motorola GP-128, Motorola EVX-261, Aircom-379L, Dcom-300, Baofeng BF-888S, Aircom AC-245, and Aircom AC-379L Plus SBR—all of which are in professional use.
Officials claim that these walkie-talkies are “simple to operate and function independently of mobile networks,” offering long-range coverage suitable for open areas and diverse operational environments. These communication and safety devices are primarily used by event organizers, security agencies, restaurants, hospitals, factories, and construction sites. The devices are equipped with powerful batteries capable of supporting full-day operations.
