Operation of Bangabandhu Satellite 1 will be disrupted for 8 to 13 minutes from March 7 to 13
Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL) informed that due to solar outage, the broadcasting activities of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 may be interrupted for a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 13 minutes for 7 days.
This information was disclosed in a circular signed by Nuzhat Tanjina, Managing Director (Additional Charge) of BSCL on Wednesday, February 28.
Bangabandhu Satellite-1's broadcast operations will be interrupted for 9 minutes on March 7 from 9:53 am to 10:20 am local time; A total of 12 minutes from 9:51 am to 10:30 am on March 8; 13 minutes from 9:50 am to 10:30 am on March 9; March 10 from 9:50 am to 10:30 am for a total of 13 minutes; 11 March from 9:50 am to 10:20 am for a total of 12 minutes; A total of 11 minutes from 9:50 am to 10:10 am on March 12 and 8 minutes from 9:52 am to 10 am on March 13.
Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited expressed sincere regret to the customers for this temporary disruption caused by natural causes.
