Verified service of Meta launched in India
Social media giant Meta has launched its verified service in India. Through this Facebook and Instagram users can buy Blue Verification Tick.
For now this service is brought for mobile app. A subscription fee of Rs 699 per month is required to avail the Meta Blue Tick Verified service.
And in the next few months, this subscription will be available on the web for Rs. 599 per month.
A statement from Meta said, “Meta Verified is now live for Instagram and Facebook in India. iOS or Android users can avail this service for a fee of Rs 699 per month. Will bring this service for web version in next few months and charge Rs 599 per month.”
In addition to the mentioned monthly charges, users will have to provide a government ID to blue tick their account.
Meta said verified accounts will be protected from fake account creation and better account support from the company.
