The e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) will hold its biennial election for the
The election will be held under the Trade Organization Act, 2022; Trade Organization Rules, 2025; and the Memorandum and Articles of Association of e-CAB. The election venue will be announced after it is finalized.
The new executive committee will have 11 positions: one president, one senior vice-president, one vice-president, one secretary general, one joint secretary, one treasurer and five directors.
According to the announced election schedule, members must log in to the e-CAB website and upload the required documents by 5pm on Monday, October 19, 2026.
The required documents include an updated trade license, an updated income tax certificate or tax return submission receipt, and representative nomination documents based on the legal structure of the business.
For limited companies, the nomination resolution for a representative must be submitted, and the representative must be a shareholder of the company. For partnership businesses, a copy of the nomination letter issued by the partners must be submitted.

The following documents must be submitted to the Election Board at House 33, Road 4, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1205:
- A photocopy of the updated trade license of the relevant company or firm. The license must remain valid through June 30, 2026.
- A photocopy of the updated income tax certificate or tax return submission receipt. The applicable assessment year is 2024-25 for organizations and 2025-26 for individuals.
- For limited companies, the original resolution of the executive committee nominating the representative must be submitted. The representative must be a shareholder. For partnership businesses, the nomination letter issued by the partners must be submitted. For sole proprietorships, the owner will serve as the representative.
- As proof of an online or e-commerce business, a printed screenshot of the website homepage or Facebook page must be submitted.
- Two recent passport-size color photographs of the representative must be submitted. The member’s name and membership number must be written on the back of the photographs.
- A photocopy of the National Identity Card must be submitted.
- The membership renewal certificate or updated information required under the Articles of Association must be submitted, along with receipts or money receipts confirming payment of outstanding dues.
The notice states that the final deadline for submitting the required documents is 5pm on Monday, October 19, 2026. Members have been requested to complete the document submission and information update within the specified deadline.
According to e-CAB’s membership information, the membership card serves as an official identity for members and is also used to participate in elections.
