The international tourism exhibition 'Bangladesh Travel Mart (BTM) 2026' is set to begin on September 3 at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka. Bangladesh Outbound Tour Operators Association (BOTOA) finalized all preparations for the three-day event, according to a press release issued on Monday (August 31, 2026). Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat, MP, will inaugurate the event.

To digitize trade networking, the event introduces an online Pre-Scheduled Appointment (PSA) System. This technology allows global Buyers and Sellers to arrange structured B2B meetings prior to the event. Organizers project participation from 100 exhibitors, 60 trade buyers, and 15,000 visitors. Alongside B2B deals, the B2C segment will offer instant air ticket purchases, tour packages, and hotel bookings for consumers.

BOTOA President Syed Golam Mohammad stated that the platform bridges local aviation and hospitality markets with global travel networks. BOTOA General Secretary Md. Shariful Islam Sharif and Chief Coordinator Mohsin Iqbal highlighted that the online PSA platform ensures productive business contracts and planned trade sessions. The exhibition runs from September 3 to September 5, 2026.
