Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) hosted a technical workshop titled "The Antenna Odyssey," focusing on the latest advancements in antenna, propagation, and wireless technologies. Organized by the IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society CUET Chapter.

The event took place on Monday, August 17, 2026, at the IT Business Incubator auditorium. Speaking as the chief guest, CUET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem highlighted that such technical platforms provide students with essential opportunities to exchange ideas with renowned academics and researchers from home and abroad, reinforcing the university's commitment to expanding international research collaborations.

The technical sessions featured prominent global and national speakers, including Professor Dr. Karu Esselle from the University of Technology Sydney, Associate Professor Dr. Firoz Ahmed from the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Rajshahi University, and Debaprasad Das, Lecturer in the EEE Department at World University of Bangladesh. Chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Azad Hossain of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) Department.

The event was moderated by ETE 22nd batch students Priya Deb and Shahrukh Khondokar. The workshop provided students and researchers with critical insights into next-generation wireless communications and high-frequency antenna engineering.
