Shwapno also Offers Discounts on Online Orders

Bangladesh’s largest retail chain Shwapno has introduced special discounts on essential products through online orders and home delivery. Alongside its digital shopping facilities, the retailer is also offering discounts at its outlets on everyday necessities including milk, flour, edible oil, salt, rice, lentils, potatoes, onions, noodles and detergent. The initiative aims to ease consumers’ spending pressure amid rising prices of essential commodities.

Shwapno said on August 17, the special discounts were introduced considering consumers’ daily needs and the current market situation. The offers are available through both online and offline channels, allowing customers to purchase essential products at comparatively lower prices.

Under the offer, 500 grams of Fresh Milk Powder is available at Tk 420 after a Tk 60 discount, while 1 kg is available at Tk 825 after a Tk 125 discount. Similarly, 1 kg of Pusti Plus is priced at Tk 800 after a Tk 150 discount, while 2 kg of Pusti Atta is available at Tk 95 after a Tk 35 discount. A 2 kg pack of ACI Pure Atta is available at Tk 105 after a Tk 25 discount.

Special discounts are also available on edible oils. A 5-litre bottle of Rupchanda Soybean Oil is available at Tk 955 after a Tk 20 discount, while the 1-litre pack is priced at Tk 196 after a Tk 3 discount. Meanwhile, 5 litres of ACI Nutrilife Rice Bran Oil is available at Tk 1,040 after a Tk 120 discount, and 5 litres of Fortune Rice Bran Oil at Tk 1,050 after a Tk 160 discount.

Among other essential food products, 1 kg of Fresh Salt is available at Tk 34 after an Tk 8 discount. Loose Miniket Rice is priced at Tk 55 per kg after a Tk 5 discount, while Zirashail Miniket Rice is available at Tk 58 per kg after a Tk 14 discount. One kilogram of onion is priced at Tk 48 after a Tk 7 discount in the Dhaka division, potatoes at Tk 25 per kg after a Tk 5 discount, and 1 kg of lentils at Tk 90 after a Tk 10 discount.

Shwapno is also offering special discounts on household and daily-use products. A 49-gram pack of WOW Masala Instant Noodles is available at Tk 99 after a Tk 76 discount. One kilogram of Rin Power Bright is priced at Tk 175 after a Tk 20 discount, 1 kg of Wheel Clean & Fresh at Tk 150 after a Tk 15 discount, and 1 kg of Mr. White Detergent Powder at Tk 120 after an Tk 80 discount.

Shwapno said the initiative is aimed at reducing consumers’ financial pressure by creating savings opportunities on essential products used in everyday life. The retailer also places importance on affordable pricing alongside product quality and availability as part of its modern retail operations.
