Plexus Cloud Limited has officially launched a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered 'ISP ERP Software' designed to make the operational activities of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) across the country simpler, faster, and fully automated. The software was formally unveiled during a ceremony held at the Banani Club in the capital on Monday night (July 3), attended by top-tier representatives from the ICT and internet sector.
Attending the launch event as the chief guest, Mohammad Aminul Hakim, President of the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB), stated that modern software and automation-driven solutions are pivotal for the sustainable development of the country's internet ecosystem. Emphasizing that adopting AI technology is no longer optional, he remarked, "We must adapt to AI. Otherwise, we will fail to take the ISP business to the next level." Delivering special guest remarks, ISPAB Secretary General Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan noted that under the government's EDC project, the installation of 108,000 connection points is underway, with 55,000 connections already completed. He expressed confidence that the remaining targets would be met within the stipulated timeline.
According to Plexus Cloud Limited, the new AI-based ERP software allows ISP companies to manage billing, customer relationship management (CRM), network infrastructure, accounting, BTRC compliance, and general administrative functions on a single, unified platform. This will enable ISPs to deliver superior customer service, ensure uninterrupted connectivity, and maintain reliable internet speeds. To elevate the user experience, the system incorporates a dedicated 'Internet User App' for subscribers to check connection status, pay bills, and view service updates seamlessly. Additionally, a powerful 'Transmission App' has been bundled to help network engineers manage, monitor, and execute operational workflows with higher accuracy.
Speaking at the session, AI author Rakibul Hasan highlighted that accurate AI outputs require quality datasets, which Plexus Cloud successfully leverages to provide actionable intelligence. Mobarak Hossain, Chief Executive Officer of Plexus Cloud Limited, explained, "This AI-driven ERP solution has been created to bring the country's internet providers under a smarter, automated framework. It will boost operational efficiency, minimize error rates, and significantly reduce operational expenditures for ISPs." The launch event was attended by former ISPAB President Imdadul Haque, along with senior executives from a majority of the 36 ISP entities tied to the government's EDC project.
