Sunday (Exact date not specified): She made the remarks while speaking to journalists after visiting an HSC examination centre at Siddheswari Girls' College in the capital.
The Deputy Commissioner said the administration has taken maximum preparations to ensure that the examinations are conducted in a peaceful, fair, and cheat-free environment. Executive magistrates, law enforcement personnel, and other relevant officials have been deployed at every examination centre.
She said any attempt to spread misinformation about question leaks through social media or any other platform would be dealt with immediately under the law. She also urged students, parents, and the public not to believe or circulate unverified information.
Farida Khanam added that all necessary support has been arranged to ensure candidates can sit for their examinations without disruption. She also called on parents, teachers, and all concerned to cooperate in maintaining a proper examination environment.
During the visit, she reviewed the overall examination environment, security arrangements, and the conduct of the examinations at the centre.
