Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced that metro trains will not stop at Dhaka University Metro Station from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday following a request from the university authorities. The reason for the temporary suspension has not been disclosed.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced a temporary suspension of train stoppages at Dhaka University Metro Station.
In a post published on its verified Facebook page on Wednesday (July 1), DMTCL said metro trains will not stop at the station from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm following a request from the Dhaka University authorities.
During this period, metro rail services will continue operating normally, but trains will pass through the station without stopping. Regular stoppages will resume after the scheduled period.
DMTCL also expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to passengers.
However, the company did not specify why Dhaka University requested the temporary suspension of train stoppages at the station.
