The popular family drama Eta Amaderi Golpo concluded successfully, setting a series of new records. The mega episode (52nd episode) surpassed 1 million views on YouTube within just 32 minutes of release. It crossed 2 million views in 68 minutes and reached 3 million within 2 hours and 2 minutes. Even before completing four hours, the episode’s view count stood at 4 million. Director Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raj shared these figures on social media.
The 1 hour 32-minute-long mega episode was released on Friday, May 8 at 3:00 pm on the CinemaWala YouTube channel, marking the end of the series’ seven-month journey.
The series had been airing on Channel i every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30 pm since November 5, 2025. Simultaneously, new episodes were released on YouTube every Wednesday and Thursday at 12:00 pm.
In the final episode, a reunion between an aunt and uncle was portrayed through the efforts of family members. One of the highlights of the mega episode was the appearance of musicians Arfin Rumi and Dola Rahman, who performed the series’ title song. The lyrics were written by Mahmud Manzur.
The emotional conclusion depicted the death of the character Anjuman Begum, played by Monira Akter Mithu. Earlier, in the 49th episode, her husband Jamshed Saheb—portrayed by Nader Chowdhury—also passed away.
Since its debut, the series received widespread audience acclaim. Characters such as Fahad, Samir, Mehreen, Sayra, and their family members became deeply relatable to viewers. Its portrayal of family emotions, relationship dynamics, and realism sparked extensive discussion on social media.
Previously, the 50th episode set a national record by becoming the fastest to reach 10 million views. The 51st episode, titled Last Chapter, released on May 7, also surpassed 10 million views within a single day.
Inspired by the popular Pakistani serial Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, the series was adapted to reflect Bangladeshi family culture by Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raj. Its originality, direction, and vibrant performances contributed to its strong audience acceptance.
The cast also included Irfan Sajjad, Khairul Basar, Keya Payel, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, MNU Raju, Mukit Zakaria, Deacon Noor, Israt Atithi, and Aditi Zaman Sneha. Cinematography was handled by Aditya Monir.
