Infinix Invests in Gaming, Grows with Football
Mobile handset brand Infinix has engaged young people across Bangladesh through a series of gaming- and football-focused initiatives throughout 2025, strengthening its connection with youth culture, industry observers say.
Earlier this year, Infinix Bangladesh organized the campus-based e-sports tournament PMCC 2025 Bangladesh, involving students from various educational institutions across the country. Most recently, the company opened a gaming-centric flagship store in Uttara, Dhaka, further underlining its focus on the growing gaming community.
Alongside gaming, Infinix has continued its collaboration with the Bangladesh women’s national football team. Interest in women’s football has been rising steadily in recent years, particularly among young people, and sports analysts believe the partnership aligns closely with this changing trend.
According to stakeholders, these initiatives—spanning both offline and online platforms—reflect a new form of brand engagement built around gaming culture and youth participation.
Analysts note that both gaming and sports play a significant role in fostering teamwork, discipline, and strategic thinking among young people. The expansion of campus-level e-sports and the increasing visibility of women’s football are seen as clear indicators of shifting interests among the country’s youth.
