Teletalk Launches 4G VoLTE Button Phone with App Access
State-owned mobile operator Teletalk has introduced a new 4G Cloud VoLTE handset that brings “smartphone features to button phones.” With this handset, users can access applications such as Edutub, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Initially, the handset will be available at Teletalk customer service centers in Dhaka, including Gulshan-1, Azimpur, Mirpur-10, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Uttara Post Office, and Shyamoli. Outside Dhaka, the handset can be purchased from customer service centers in the northern regions of Rangpur and Rajshahi, as well as in Dampara, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar.
The offer was announced on Thursday, 4 December, at the Teletalk office in Gulshan by the company’s esteemed Managing Director, Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, in the presence of senior officials.
Tofayel Ahmed, Deputy Manager of the operator’s Sales and Marketing Department, stated that under the “4G Cloud VoLTE Handset Bundle Offer,” customers will receive a 4G Cloud handset along with a 2,499 BDT SIM. As a tagging offer, users will get 2GB of free data for seven days. Customers can enjoy the bundle offers repeatedly over the next six months by dialing the designated USSD code.
Additionally, Teletalk is offering two more bundles: one for 49 BDT providing 25 minutes + 10 SMS and 2GB data, and another for 89 BDT providing 50 minutes + 20 SMS and 5GB data. The validity of these bundles will be 15 days and 30 days, respectively.
