Universities today, he said, are not merely knowledge institutions but also drivers of innovation, policy influence, and industrial transformation. Achieving these goals requires interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration among architects, engineers, planners, and researchers.

The conference has drawn top academics, scholars, and researchers from Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, and other countries. Two keynote speakers are participating, with a total of sixteen technical sessions scheduled over the two days. Additional activities include poster exhibitions, a joint international PhD research seminar, and five parallel workshops on environmental architecture. Six PhD research presentations from various countries will also be featured. Out of 150 submitted papers, over 80 will be presented across the sixteen sessions, with more than 40 posters displayed.
