Innovative Interiors: Expo Excites Enthusiasts
The three-day Interior–Furniture–Signage Technology Expo 2025 has commenced at Bashundhara Expo Village in Dhaka, showcasing the aesthetic use of technology in home furnishings and interiors.
Under one roof, 50 companies from nine countries are presenting exhibits across nearly 200 stalls in the Intech, Furnitech, and Signage Technology sectors. Displayed products include automated kitchen solutions, furniture, smart home devices, boards, curtains, doors, software, and interior services.
The exhibition offers entrepreneurs, craftsmen, and students the opportunity to explore tools and machinery firsthand. Open to visitors daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the expo will run until 19 October, featuring special offers and discounts.
The event was inaugurated on Thursday, 16 October, by Professor Dr. M. Masud Ur Rashid, General Secretary of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).
The expo, organized by F Touch Events Limited, was also attended by Bashundhara Convention Center Chief Operating Officer M. M. Jasim Uddin, BDICOA President Mohammad Ali Bhuiya, and other members of the organization.
In his inaugural speech, Professor Dr. Masud Ur Rashid said, “This expo is playing a supportive role in nurturing new entrepreneurs. Architects and designers can also utilize various products in their professional work. Participation helps them enhance their skills. This year, the expo is being held on a larger scale, encouraging greater engagement from interested professionals.”
BDICOA President Mohammad Ali Bhuiya added, “The more expos we have, the greater the benefits for stakeholders. It helps provide services aligned with customer preferences. Due to demand, both scale and technology have been expanded.”
Neimul Hossain Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Wood Tech Solutions, said, “The second Furnitech Expo 2025 will open new horizons in the furniture and woodworking sector. It has become a convergence point for entrepreneurs, manufacturers, designers, and students.”
Sheikh Firoz Ahmed, Director of F Touch Events, noted, “For the first time, software used in interior design is being showcased here, which will make a significant contribution to the domestic industry.”
