Kay & Que Kicks Off LPG Retail Sales
Kay & Que (Bangladesh) Limited, a publicly listed engineering sector company, has commenced retail sales of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) through its “Dakshinpara Dhamrai Unit” in Dhaka district. The unit is supplying LPG directly to retail consumers.
The company disclosed the development on Tuesday, September 2, through sources at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to Kay & Que Limited, “With the launch of direct retail sales, revenue will increase and business expansion will gain momentum. Until now, sales were primarily through wholesale and limited channels. From now on, general consumers will also be able to collect LPG directly from Kay & Que Limited.”
The company expects this new initiative to meet local demand, strengthen its market presence, and generate additional revenue that will positively impact its overall financial performance in the future.
Market analysts view the decision as encouraging for investors, noting that retail sales could boost both sales volume and profitability.
