Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) launched its much-anticipated online gradesheet service on Wednesday, July 16, 2024. The new system was officially inaugurated in the morning by CUET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, who called for the cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure its smooth implementation. He also expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in developing and operationalizing the system.

Present at the launch were Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Registrar (Additional Charge), and Professor Dr. Md. Moinul Islam, Controller of Examinations (Additional Charge).

Previously, CUET students at various undergraduate levels had to collect hard copies of their gradesheets from the Examination Office following each term final. However, reluctance among students to collect these documents was frequently observed. In most cases, students would wait until graduation to retrieve all their gradesheets at once, mainly due to concerns about misplacing them. As a result, many remained unaware of their academic progress during their studies.

To address these challenges, CUET has now introduced an "Online Gradesheet" system, developed with technical support from the university’s IICT and under the overall supervision of the Examination Office.

Under this new system, students can access and download their gradesheets for specific levels and terms via their personal portal using the "Gradesheet" tab. Advisors will also be able to view or download the gradesheets of their respective students through their own portals. This initiative is expected to significantly improve academic progress monitoring.

Furthermore, if a student requires an original hard copy of any gradesheet, it can still be obtained by submitting a formal request through a prescribed form to the Examination Office.
