CUET and MIST Cement Collaboration through Five-Year MoU
A five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) and the Department of Electrical, Communication and Electronic Engineering (ECEE) of the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).
On behalf of CUET, the MoU was signed by Professor Dr. Md. Zahedul Islam, Head of the ETE Department, while Brigadier General Md. Rossaidul Mawla, Head of the ECEE Department, signed on behalf of MIST.
The MoU signing ceremony took place on Thursday afternoon at the conference room of the Admin Tower at MIST, as part of the GNSS Observatory Hosting and Collaborative MoU Signing Ceremony. Professor Dr. Mahmood Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Vice-Chancellor of CUET, was present as the chief guest.
From CUET, the ceremony was also attended by Professor Dr. Md. Zahedul Islam, Head of the ETE Department, and Professor Dr. Md. Azad Hossain of the same department. Representing MIST were its Commandant Major General Mohammad Nasim Parvez, Brigadier General Md. Rossaidul Mawla, Head of the ECEE Department, along with deans from various faculties.
The agreement is expected to enhance technical expertise and foster collaboration in education and research between the two institutions.
