The smartphone runs One UI 9 and includes a range of AI-powered and camera features designed to enhance everyday tasks, photography and entertainment.
Google’s Circle to Search feature allows users to search for multiple objects within a single image simultaneously. The updated Galaxy AI features will also provide personalised information and timely suggestions through different apps and notifications, helping users find relevant information more easily.
The smartphone features a triple-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Nightography is included to support photography in low-light conditions. Its Super Steady with Horizontal Lock feature helps keep videos stable and level while recording on the move.
The camera system also includes My FanCam and Photo Assist. My FanCam tracks a person in the frame and automatically adjusts the composition to keep them centred as they move. Photo Assist allows users to edit images by entering instructions in natural language.
The Galaxy S26 FE comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display featuring a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Its 4,900mAh battery supports 45W wired charging. According to the product information, a 45W charger can take the battery from zero to 69 per cent in approximately 30 minutes.
Samsung has committed to providing up to seven generations of operating system (OS) upgrades and up to seven years of security updates for the device.
The Galaxy S26 FE, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at Tk 121,999 in Bangladesh. To mark the launch, Gadget and Gear is offering an exchange bonus of Tk 2,000.
