Interactive District Tracking Platform Launched
Unseen Bangladesh Travel Map Goes Viral
- Unseen Bangladesh tracks travel across 64 districts
- Interactive mapping with customized themes and downloads
- Features dynamic itinerary planning and expense budgeting
Integrating interactive mapping technology and user-centric web design, local travel-tech application ‘Unseen Bangladesh’ (unseenbangladesh.com) has sparked widespread engagement across digital platforms. By enabling travelers to dynamically visualize, track, and share the total number of domestic districts visited out of 64 administrative territories, the portal has emerged as a viral phenomenon among youth travelers.
Already social media feeds have seen an influx of color-coded district maps shared by travel enthusiasts. The platform allows users to pin visited districts across eight divisions either through an itemized list or by clicking directly onto the vectorized territorial canvas. The application instantly computes and renders a real-time progress ratio, providing utility features like bulk selection and complete reset with single commands.
On the front-end customization side, the tool integrates five distinct visual themes. Users can personalize their interactive graphics with dynamic names and profile images, defaulting to ‘Amar Bangladesh’ in the absence of custom input. The generated cartographic visual can be exported in high-resolution PNG, JPG, or PDF formats for social networking integration. The platform also offers parallel functionality to generate global travel heatmaps.
Beyond spatial tracking, the architecture serves as an integrated travel optimization engine. Housing a structured repository of over 240 tourist attractions across 64 districts, it compiles transportation logistics, lodging estimates, route recommendations, and administrative safety advisories for remote regions. Travelers can generate end-to-end itineraries based on time constraints, group sizes, and budgetary parameters, with exportable PDF schedules. To enhance geographic awareness, the portal also incorporates interactive quizzes and map puzzle modules.
The platform was engineered by designer and travel enthusiast Md. Sabbir Hossain Robin, who initially conceived the interactive application to log his own journeys.
In a social media statement, Robin noted that the system registered thousands of concurrent users shortly after release. He confirmed that development is underway to transition the service to dedicated custom domains alongside deploying an official Android app on the Google Play Store.
