Army Completes Mobile Servicing Course in Naniarchar

Aimed at equipping the ethnic and Bengali youth of the Chittagong Hill Tracts with market-driven vocational competencies, fostering self-reliance, and cultivating local employment pipelines, the Bangladesh Army’s Naniarchar Zone under Rangamati sector has successfully concluded a two-week mobile servicing training program. The residential technical workshop officially concluded with a certificate presentation on Thursday, 24 September 2026, at the Naniarchar Zone Headquarters.
Initiated on 13 September 2026, the comprehensive training brought together 14 selected youths representing both local ethnic minority and Bengali communities. Throughout the intensive instructional duration, trainees received foundational theoretical orientation paired with rigorous, lab-based practical diagnostics on hardware repair, circuitry troubleshooting, and mobile maintenance.
To guarantee that acquired proficiencies seamlessly translate into tangible entrepreneurial initiatives, comprehensive mobile servicing toolkits were distributed to each trainee at the inception of the program. This facilitated direct hands-on immersion throughout the modules, enabling participants to master modern diagnostic equipment. The initiative is projected to empower these young technicians to launch localized servicing centers and micro-enterprises within their respective communities.
Organized under the executive guidance of Naniarchar Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Md. Mashiur Rahman, psc, the closing ceremony was presided over by Second-in-Command Major Sheikh Mohammad Nayem, who handed over course completion certificates to the graduates. The event was attended by technical instructors, organizing officers, and military personnel.
Officials from the Naniarchar Zone reiterated that the Bangladesh Army remains committed to organizing regular humanitarian, technical, and capacity-building programs to channel the potential of hill tract youths into productive, self-reliant contributors to the national economy.
