DU Offers Two AI Training Courses

The Institute of Information Technology of the University of Dhaka is offering two short-term training programmes aimed at developing practical skills in artificial intelligence-based technologies.

The courses are titled ‘AI-Assisted Data Analysis with Python and Jupyter Notebook’ and ‘AI-Assisted Development with Cursor’. Each course will have 20 seats, allowing a total of 40 participants.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Students currently pursuing undergraduate degrees will also be eligible to apply. Both male and female candidates can participate.

Applicants must have basic knowledge of Python programming. Students from non-computer science or information technology backgrounds, freelancers and researchers are also eligible to apply.

The programmes are short-term courses with classes scheduled twice a week. Each course will consist of 20 hours, including 16 hours of lectures and four hours of examinations.

The regular course fee is Tk 10,000, while an offer price of Tk 8,000 has been announced.

Participants will have access to individual computers at the modern computer laboratory of the Institute of Information Technology. Classes will be conducted under the supervision of experienced trainers.

The training will take place at Room 104 of the Institute of Information Technology, University of Dhaka.
