Free AI Training Programme Starts at JUST
- AI training for JUST students
- Eight free online sessions
- No prior coding experience required
A new AI skills development programme titled ‘AI Navigator Autumn 2026 and Winter Intake 2026’ is set to begin for students of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). The programme is being organised by ‘Send a Little Hope’, offering JUST students an opportunity to participate free of charge.
Under the new announcement, students interested in the Autumn Intake 2026 must register by August 23, 2026. Classes for the Autumn Intake will begin on September 1. Registration for the Winter Intake 2026 will begin on October 1, with classes scheduled to start on December 1.
The programme will be conducted entirely online through eight sessions. No participation fee will be required, while previous coding experience will not be mandatory. The programme will be conducted as a CPD-certified programme.
Training will cover AI tools and prompt engineering, AI for research and writing, ethical and responsible AI, and practical project development. Students will gain practical knowledge of using AI for academic work, research, writing, problem-solving and other real-world activities.
According to the organisers, AI adoption is rapidly expanding across education, research, employment and professional sectors. As a result, basic and practical AI skills are becoming increasingly important for students beyond technology-related disciplines.
JUST Department of Computer Science and Engineering Chairman Associate Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Islam said the programme has been designed to develop skills in academic research, writing and communication, productivity and problem-solving, analysis, ethical AI use, project development and community-focused innovation.
He said eligible students who successfully complete the digital course will receive certificates free of charge. After completing the AI Navigator sessions, students will also be able to apply for an original printed certificate issued by Send a Little Hope. A fee of Tk 250 will apply for each printed certificate.
Each batch will accommodate a maximum of 300 students.
The organisers said students without prior technical or coding experience will also be able to participate and learn practical applications of AI, providing them with an opportunity to build AI-related skills for their academic studies and future careers.
