    A two-day training program on ‘D-Nothi’ (Digital Filing System) for officers was inaugurated at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU). Organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the training officially commenced today, Wednesday (August 19, 2026), at the CSTE Department Lab. 

    Honorable Vice-Chancellor of NSTU, Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani, attended the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, VC Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani stated, "The organization of this D-Nothi training at NSTU is a timely initiative. D-Nothi will play a vital role in bringing the university's administrative operations under digital management to make them faster, easier, and more effective." 

    The Vice-Chancellor urged the participating officers to apply the acquired practical knowledge directly in their respective departmental workflows rather than keeping it limited to the training room. He also added that all tiers of university officers and employees will gradually be integrated into this digital filing ecosystem to ensure transparent and technology-driven governance. 

    Chaired by IQAC Director Professor Dr. Asadun Nabi, the event was addressed by special guests including Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Shafiqul Islam, Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Hasan Uddin, and Acting Registrar Mohammad Tamzid Hossain Chowdhury.

    The training sessions are being conducted by resource persons Md. Moinuddin and Fyez Ahmed, System Analysts at NSTU ICT Cell, along with Syed Mohammad Miraj Hossain, ICT Officer of Noakhali Sadar Upazila. IQAC Additional Director (QA) Dr. Md. Shiblur Rahaman served as the course director, while Additional Director (ETL) G M Rakibul Islam moderated the program. Officers from various departments of the university participated in the training.
