These operational highlights were disclosed during a press conference held at Hotel InterContinental in the capital on Tuesday (August 4). The session commenced with a detailed performance presentation by Robi's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Ruhul Amin. Moderated by Company Secretary Shahed Alam, the press brief featured primary addresses by Robi's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ziad Shatara.

Speaking at the event, Robi CEO Ziad Shatara stated, "The integration of AI (Artificial Intelligence) into our network infrastructure, combined with continuous network upgrades, superior customer service, and the dedicated efforts of our personnel, enabled the company to sustain this robust growth. Robi's core goal remains ensuring absolute customer satisfaction, and driven by that objective, the organization continues to invest heavily in technological modernization."
He noted that over the past five years, Robi executed one of the fastest network expansion drives in the country's telecommunications sector. During this era, the company consistently poured capital into high-grade network equipment while integrating modern tech solutions to improve service quality. At present, nearly 75 percent of Robi’s overall network modernization work has been completed. Modernization activities across the Chittagong region are progressing rapidly, with full completion expected by the end of this current year.

Addressing recent performance metrics, the Robi CEO mentioned, "According to the results of the second quarter (Q2) spanning January to June 2026, Robi achieved positive market growth.
