The group stage draw for South Asia's premier international football tournament, 'TECNO SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026', has been finalized. Held in Thimphu, Bhutan, the official draw ceremony marked a key milestone in event preparations.

Organized following the SAFF Ordinary Congress 2026, the ceremony was attended by senior representatives from the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF), FIFA, and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), along with presidents and officials from seven SAFF member associations.

The official draw was conducted by SAFF General Secretary Purushottam Kattel, Bhutan Football Federation President Dasho Ugen Tsechup, and Rezwanul Hoque, CEO of iSmartu Technology BD Limited, representing title sponsor TECNO Mobile Bangladesh.

According to the draw results, host Bangladesh will compete in Group A alongside Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan. Group B features India, Maldives, and Pakistan. Nepal's participation remains subject to FIFA approval. The tournament will take place in Bangladesh from November 4 to 17.

Highlighting the occasion, Rezwanul Hoque, CEO of iSmartu Technology Bangladesh Limited, stated, "The official draw represents a significant moment in the journey of TECNO SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026.
