CUET VC Invites Finance Minister as Chief Guest for University Day

2 August, Sunday: Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Professor Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem, held separate courtesy meetings and discussions with Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed.
During the meeting held at the Finance and Planning Minister's office on Sunday afternoon, key discussions took place regarding CUET's future plans for higher education, research, and overall infrastructural development. The Finance and Planning Minister assured maximum government support to accelerate CUET's ongoing progress.
During the visit, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem invited Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury to attend as Chief Guest at the upcoming University Day program scheduled for September 1, a request which was accepted.
Additionally, in a separate meeting held at the UGC Chairman's office on the same day, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem and UGC Chairman Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed discussed enhancing the quality of higher education and research, expanding international academic collaborations, and advancing CUET's institutional development.
