Robi Axiata Appoints Ruhul Amin as Chief Financial Officer

Robi Axiata PLC has appointed Ruhul Amin as its Chief Financial Officer. He had been serving as the company's Acting Chief Financial Officer since January 1, 2026.

The appointment was announced in a company press release on Monday, July 6. 

Before assuming the CFO role, Ruhul Amin served as Chief Strategy Officer at Robi Axiata and also held several key positions within the Axiata Group.

Ruhul Amin has nearly 25 years of professional experience, including more than 14 years at Robi. His expertise spans financial management, corporate strategy, governance, business transformation, data analytics, and leadership.

During his tenure at Robi, he played a significant role in driving the company's strategic transformation, strengthening financial governance, promoting data-driven decision-making, and implementing major business initiatives. He has also been actively involved in several key transactions and transformation programs within the telecommunications sector.

Robi Axiata Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ziad Satara said the company is pleased to appoint Ruhul Amin as Chief Financial Officer. He said Ruhul Amin's deep understanding of the business, proven financial and strategic leadership, and experience in leading transformation initiatives will help accelerate the company's growth and create long-term value for customers, shareholders, and other stakeholders.

Ruhul Amin is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant in Australia. In addition, he has completed executive education programmes at INSEAD and Harvard University.
