Prime Minister Tarique Rahman Leaves Dalian for Beijing by High-Speed Train
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman departed Dalian for Beijing by high-speed train after attending the World Economic Forum plenary session in China. The visit focuses on international cooperation and bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has departed from Dalian in China’s Liaoning Province for Beijing. His wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman is accompanying him during the visit.
The Prime Minister left Dalian for Beijing by high-speed (bullet) train at 2:00 pm local time on Wednesday (24 June).
Earlier, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended the plenary session of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dalian as an invited guest. The session titled “Innovation at Scale” began at 9:00 am local time at the Dalian International Conference Center.
The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the World Economic Forum delivered the opening remarks.
The plenary session was attended by leaders including Chinese Premier Li Qiang, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Mongolian Prime Minister Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, and Guinea Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah, alongside the Bangladesh delegation.
On the sidelines of the session, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held discussions with several heads of government on strengthening bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and issues of mutual interest.
The participating world leaders also took part in a photo session during a break at the event.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Dalian, China, on Monday (22 June).
